96-well deep-well plate and 96-well micro-well deep-well plate are widely used in various autosamplers, and can be directly inserted into the injection chamber of the autosampler for injection. Compared to traditional vials, the 96-well deep-well plate not only doubles the amount of sample in the injection chamber, but also allows injection into the chamber. Direct sample injection eliminates the hassle of pipetting back and forth, placing samples, capping, inserting primers, and cleaning bottles after processing with 96-well deep-well plates.

The 96-well deep-well plate replaces traditional 1.5mL centrifuge tubes, is easy to store, and can withstand refrigerated temperatures as low as -80°C. Therefore, 96-well deep-well plates are also called storage blocks.

The 96-well deep-well plate can be combined with a gas discharge gun, a powerful automatic liquid manipulator and software to realize powerful biological sample manipulations such as protein precipitation and liquid-liquid extraction, and greatly improve the sample processing efficiency. The polypropylene material can withstand high temperature and high pressure of 121°C and sterilization techniques.

1. There are two types of 96-well deep-well plate: transparent and milky white, among which milky white is more suitable for the new fluorescence quantitative PCR instrument, and the fluorescence signal is collected at the top, but if the fluorescence quantitative PCR instrument is the bottom light source, it should be transparent.

2. According to the skirt design, the 96-hole deep well plate can be divided into three design modes: no skirt, half skirt and full skirt. Different manufacturers of real-time PCR instruments will design different cut corners or edge protrusions. Please choose the one that is suitable for the PCR machine.

3. 96-well deep-well plates have different volumes. According to different models, choose orifice plates with different heights to avoid damage to the machine due to data distortion caused by height errors and uneven heating.

4. When using a 96-well deep-well plate for real-time PCR experiments, it is recommended to use an optical film to seal the reaction wells. The correct sealing method is to first press the film longitudinally along the 96-well deep-well plate, then press laterally, and then press and seal along the edge of the plate.

5. After adding the sample, some small droplets will splash on the tube wall, and there will be some air bubbles in the reaction system. Centrifugation is required to remove the tube wall droplets and air bubbles. It is recommended to use a special microplate centrifuge to deal with this problem.
